The 24th FTA Technology Conference and Exhibition will take place at the Hyatt Regency 
McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, August 10-13. This meeting features state agency, federal, general electronic commerce, tax service provider and other private-sector presentations related to the application of technologies that enable improvements in tax administration.
The Conference is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of tax administrators involved in the development and administration of technology applications. It should benefit both relatively new employees as well as mid- and senior-level personnel with considerable experience.
Conference and Hotel Registration information is now available along with a preliminary program (updated 6/19/08). The program will be updated periodically as speakers and topics are confirmed, so check back frequently. Over-flow hotel available for August 14.
The sessions will also provide an opportunity for private-sector personnel to acquaint themselves with a wide range of state technology initiatives underway. Members of the private sector are invited to attend to learn about various state initiatives and to meet their counterparts.
